Eligibility

The Margolese National Design for Living Prize is open to any Canadian citizen, over 18 years of age, whose work actively contributes to the development or improvement of the physical environment. 

Nominations must be submitted via the online awards form that can be found on our website at margoleseprize.com/nominate.

Images

The University of British Columbia’s School of Architecture + Landscape Architecture reserves the right to use all images submitted by the recipient (both in print and digital media) for promotional material and editorial use in connection to the award. Use of materials in this capacity will not attract payment of copyright. Where names are provided, photographers will be credited. 

Selection Committee

The University of British Columbia’s School of Architecture + Landscape Architecture will appoint a Selection Committee of between 3-5 nationally and internationally recognized experts from a broad range of fields appropriate to the prize criteria, who will review and evaluate applications. 

Each nomination will be researched and considered with respect to the prize criteria. Nominations and selection processes are confidential. 

Privacy Policy

Personal information shared by nominators and candidates will not be shared with any third party. Only employees of the Margolese Prize and the appointed Selection Committee will have access to this information.

Data Storage

By uploading supporting materials to margoleseprize.com you agree that we will store the materials in our database, located on a server that is hosted in Canada. Your data will only be accessed by employees of the Margolese Prize as well as the appointed Selection Committee.
